MANAGEMENT

The Multiverse Network, Inc. was established in July 2004 by a team of Netscape veterans with proven track records in the high-tech and entertainment industries. The Multiverse team has substantial experience building world-class web infrastructure, search engines, Internet security systems, portals, games, graphics applications, web servers, and database systems at leading companies, such as Netscape, Excite, AOL, Zone Labs, Netflix, Borland, Silicon Graphics, Electronic Arts, and IBM.

Bill Turpin
Co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer

Over the course of Bill's 25 years in the commercial software business, he has identified and led the market in significant technology shifts, including both Windows and the Internet. He built world-class technology platforms his entire career, at respected companies like Netscape and Borland.

In 1994, Bill co-founded a startup to create development tools for the Internet. In a period when almost all of the Web was static pages, his company pioneered the use of dynamically created web pages using a scripting language, database queries, and a WYSIWYG HTML editor. Bill's company was acquired by Netscape Communications in early 1995. His company's scripting language went on to become JavaScript, and its HTML editor became the web-page creator built into Navigator and now known as Composer. Bill went on to became VP of Development for Netscape's entire line of server products. Later, Bill became vice president of development and operations for Netscape's growing portal business at netscape.com. He led the development of many innovative new services for one of the busiest Internet sites at the time.

In 1988, Bill founded a startup to create development tools for Windows. In a period of text-based DOS applications, his company developed one of the first graphical database applications. Borland International acquired Bill's product in 1990 and released it as its first ever Windows product, named ObjectVision. Later, Bill became vice president of engineering for the dBASE product line and the Borland Database Engine.

At the beginning of his career, Bill spent ten years at Texas Instruments. During this time, he was general manager of an Artificial Intelligence software business and system engineer for new computer systems, including the world's first LCD-based laptop PC.

In addition to these opportunities, Bill has served in a variety of roles from "entrepreneur in residence" with Redpoint Ventures and CEO of a venture-funded company.

Corey also has written and directed a number of short films, and produced commercials and TV specials.
